The project is a joint 6-months workshop with the university of Sevilla. The site is a 500 acres area between the city center and a small dormitory town, considered to be a strategic potentiality for the city’s metropolitan development.
The connecting interactions concept aims at putting together the multi-vocational program giving Sevilla an international influence as one of the most competitive and attractive Mediterranean growing metropolises.
Public transportations are related to strategic nodes connected at national and international scales. Pedestrian and cycling paths were designed as a mesh optimizing in-site connections.
As the general plan mass was a five students teamwork proposition, my intervention focused afterwards on one of the residential area.
Different housing typologies were drawn as they would offer a holistic, efficient, friendly living and human-scaled area, interacting with educational and cultural facilities through public parks and area.
